For Experience of the Unknown  installation I used the footage of filmed body under the water and the moment of catching the breath. I filmed a person in a big aquarium lying still and  when he could  not stay without breathing any longer, he bursts out of water gasping for a breath. I used 4 monitors and the footage is edited in a manner that you can see a wave passing through each screen and moving into next one.

 

It is an exploration into the mind and body experience, how does the mind affect the body and vice versa. Where lies the boundary between the two? Can you transcend your physical and mind bound reality?

The examination of the Unknown expands our definition of life and allows us to live fully in the  present moment.
